Description

Decadent tiramisu truffles are a luxurious no-bake dessert inspired by the classic Italian tiramisu, combining mascarpone, coffee, and chocolate into irresistible bite-sized treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed ladyfingers (about 15–18)
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp strong brewed espresso (cooled)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups dark or semisweet chocolate (for coating)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix crushed ladyfingers, mascarpone, powdered sugar, espresso, vanilla, and coffee liqueur (if using) until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  5. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, coating completely.
  6. Place back on the tray and dust with cocoa powder.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • For stronger coffee flavor, add a pinch of espresso powder to the coating.
  • White or milk chocolate can be used instead of dark chocolate for a sweeter variation.
