Description
Decadent tiramisu truffles are a luxurious no-bake dessert inspired by the classic Italian tiramisu, combining mascarpone, coffee, and chocolate into irresistible bite-sized treats.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups crushed ladyfingers (about 15–18)
- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp strong brewed espresso (cooled)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups dark or semisweet chocolate (for coating)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix crushed ladyfingers, mascarpone, powdered sugar, espresso, vanilla, and coffee liqueur (if using) until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, coating completely.
- Place back on the tray and dust with cocoa powder.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For stronger coffee flavor, add a pinch of espresso powder to the coating.
- White or milk chocolate can be used instead of dark chocolate for a sweeter variation.
