Description

Decadent tiramisu brownies layered with rich espresso flavor, cocoa powder, and a creamy mascarpone topping, combining fudgy brownies with classic tiramisu taste.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and granulated sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and espresso powder until smooth.
  5. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 22–25 minutes until set but fudgy.
  6. Allow brownies to cool completely.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  8. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and espresso until smooth.
  9. Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  10. Spread the tiramisu cream evenly over cooled brownies.
  11. Dust generously with cocoa powder.
  12. Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
