Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon espresso or strong brewed coffee
- Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and granulated sugar until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and espresso powder until smooth.
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 22–25 minutes until set but fudgy.
- Allow brownies to cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and espresso until smooth.
- Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Spread the tiramisu cream evenly over cooled brownies.
- Dust generously with cocoa powder.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
