Description
Strawberry cheesecake dump cake is an easy layered dessert made with strawberry pie filling, creamy cheesecake, and cake mix, baked into a gooey, crowd-pleasing treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow or vanilla cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture evenly over the strawberry layer.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top.
- Arrange butter slices evenly across the cake mix.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Do not stir the layers for best dump cake texture.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
