Ingredients

  • 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow or white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: fresh strawberries for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the strawberry layer.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top—do not mix.
  6. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
