Description

Spicy Garlic Beef Fettuccine in Provolone Sauce is a bold and creamy pasta dish featuring tender strips of seasoned beef tossed with fettuccine in a rich, garlicky provolone cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 400 g fettuccine pasta
  • 350 g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season sliced beef with salt, black pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear beef for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and whisk in flour to form a roux.
  6. Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth and thickened.
  7. Stir in provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Add cooked fettuccine and beef to the sauce, tossing until evenly coated.
  9. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to combine flavors.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the beef to keep it tender.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
  • Adjust chili flakes to control spice level.
