Ingredients
- 400 g fettuccine pasta
- 350 g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season sliced beef with salt, black pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear beef for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and whisk in flour to form a roux.
- Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth and thickened.
- Stir in provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add cooked fettuccine and beef to the sauce, tossing until evenly coated.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes to combine flavors.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcook the beef to keep it tender.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
- Adjust chili flakes to control spice level.
