Description

Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Taco Dip is a rich, creamy, and savory dip made with seasoned ground beef, melted cheeses, and classic taco flavors, perfect for parties and easy entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 16 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Transfer seasoned beef to the slow cooker.
  4. Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, salsa, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or on HIGH for 1–1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
  7. Garnish with green onions or cilantro if desired.
  8. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
