Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 16 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Transfer seasoned beef to the slow cooker.
- Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, salsa, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or on HIGH for 1–1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Stir until smooth and fully combined.
- Garnish with green onions or cilantro if desired.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
