Description

Pizza Monkey Bread is a pull-apart bread made with biscuit dough pieces tossed in pizza sauce, pepperoni, herbs, and plenty of melted cheese, baked together for a fun, shareable pizza-style snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (16 oz each), cut into quarters
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a bundt pan or round baking dish.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Add pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss everything together until the dough pieces are evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the dough is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for about 5 minutes, then carefully invert onto a serving plate if using a bundt pan.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • You can add cooked sausage, mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers for extra pizza flavor.
  • If the top browns too quickly, loosely cover with foil during the last minutes of baking.
  • Serve immediately while the cheese is warm and stretchy.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer for best texture.
