Description
Pistachio-crusted brie bites with cranberry honey glaze are elegant, bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy brie coated in crunchy pistachios and finished with a sweet-tart glaze.
Ingredients
- 8 oz brie cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for baking or frying)
- 1/3 cup cranberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Dip each brie cube into beaten egg.
- Roll brie in breadcrumbs, then press into chopped pistachios to coat well.
- Place coated brie bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly drizzle or brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and just softened.
- Meanwhile, heat cranberry sauce, honey, and lemon juice in a small saucepan until smooth.
- Remove brie bites from oven and drizzle with cranberry honey glaze.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Freeze brie cubes for 15 minutes before coating to prevent melting.
- Can also be air-fried for extra crispiness.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
