Description

Perfect Pancakes are light, fluffy, and golden breakfast classics made with simple pantry ingredients, delivering a soft texture and delicious flavor every time.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Butter or oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined (small lumps are fine).
  4. Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2–3 minutes.
  7. Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with syrup, butter, or toppings of choice.

Notes

  • Do not overmix to keep pancakes fluffy.
  • Let batter rest 5 minutes for better texture.
