Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned or plain with added herbs)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for baking or frying)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat if pan-frying.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for consistent cooking.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  4. In another bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into egg mixture, then coat in Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  6. For baking: Place chicken on a greased baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil or melted butter, and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  7. For pan-frying: Heat olive oil in skillet, cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
