Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned or plain with added herbs)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for baking or frying)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat if pan-frying.
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for consistent cooking.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- In another bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into egg mixture, then coat in Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- For baking: Place chicken on a greased baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil or melted butter, and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- For pan-frying: Heat olive oil in skillet, cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
