Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for drizzling)
  • Optional: chopped parsley and lemon wedges for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken chop into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture. Press lightly to adhere the coating.
