Description

This one-pan garlic parmesan chicken pasta is a creamy, cheesy, and flavorful dish made with tender chicken, garlic, and pasta all cooked together for a quick and easy family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 12 oz penne pasta (or pasta of choice)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, stirring occasionally, about 10–12 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low, then stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and butter. Mix until creamy and smooth.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes (if using) and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
