Description

Lemon Garlic Chicken Bites are tender, juicy pieces of chicken sautéed in a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce. Quick to make and bursting with flavor, these golden bites are perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or as a protein-packed appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces in a single layer and cook for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and zest, then return the chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat in the lemon garlic butter sauce.
  5. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the chicken evenly.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes (if using) before serving.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Serve over rice, pasta, or with roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
