Ingredients

  • For the Dough:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 1/4 cups Greek yogurt (plain, unsweetened)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • For the Filling:
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • For the Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk or Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8-inch round or square baking dish.
  2. Make the dough: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add Greek yogurt and honey, mixing with a spatula until a soft dough forms. Knead gently on a floured surface for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Roll out: On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle (about 1/4-inch thick).
  4. Prepare filling: Brush melted butter evenly over the dough. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the top.
  5. Roll and slice: Tightly roll the dough from the long side into a log. Slice into 8–10 rolls and arrange them in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Make glaze: In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Adjust thickness as desired.
  8. Serve: Drizzle glaze over warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy immediately.
