Description
A giant chocolate chip cookie pie that is soft and chewy in the center with crisp edges, baked in a pie dish and perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pie dish.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are golden and center is just set.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Do not overbake for a soft, gooey center.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Store covered at room temperature for up to 2 days.
