Description

A giant chocolate chip cookie pie that is soft and chewy in the center with crisp edges, baked in a pie dish and perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pie dish.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are golden and center is just set.
  9. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes
