Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned; remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits.
- Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes; simmer until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and gently combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the pan when searing steak for best browning.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
- Ribeye or strip steak can be substituted for sirloin.
