Description
Easy Fudgy Oreo Brownies are rich, dense, and ultra-chocolatey brownies loaded with chunks of Oreo cookies. They combine the gooey texture of classic brownies with the crunch and creaminess of Oreos for an irresistible dessert.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 10–12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra fudginess)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, then gently fold until just combined.
- Stir in half of the chopped Oreos and chocolate chips (if using).
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining chopped Oreos over the top, pressing them slightly into the batter.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake by 2 minutes and let cool before cutting.
- Use double-stuffed Oreos for more creaminess.
- Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 4 days or refrigerate for a fudgier texture.
- Warm brownies slightly before serving for a gooey center.
