Description

Easy Fudgy Oreo Brownies are rich, dense, and ultra-chocolatey brownies loaded with chunks of Oreo cookies. They combine the gooey texture of classic brownies with the crunch and creaminess of Oreos for an irresistible dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1012 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra fudginess)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, then gently fold until just combined.
  4. Stir in half of the chopped Oreos and chocolate chips (if using).
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining chopped Oreos over the top, pressing them slightly into the batter.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake by 2 minutes and let cool before cutting.
