Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish made with tender chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and Parmesan cheese for a classic Italian-inspired meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken strips until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • Add broccoli or spinach for extra nutrition and flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
