Description
A rich and comforting pasta dish made with tender chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and Parmesan cheese for a classic Italian-inspired meal.
Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken strips until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- Add broccoli or spinach for extra nutrition and flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
