Description

Cranberry Brie Bites are festive, bite-sized appetizers made with flaky pastry, creamy Brie cheese, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 24 equal squares.
  3. Press each pastry square gently into the muffin tin cups.
  4. Place a cube of Brie into each pastry cup.
  5. Top with about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  6. Brush exposed pastry edges with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with herbs if using, and cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
  • Raspberry or fig jam can be substituted for cranberry sauce.
  • These can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
