Description
Cranberry Brie Bites are festive, bite-sized appetizers made with flaky pastry, creamy Brie cheese, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday parties.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 6 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 24 equal squares.
- Press each pastry square gently into the muffin tin cups.
- Place a cube of Brie into each pastry cup.
- Top with about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- Brush exposed pastry edges with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with herbs if using, and cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
- Raspberry or fig jam can be substituted for cranberry sauce.
- These can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
