Description
Golden, buttery garlic bread bombs stuffed with a creamy crab and shrimp filling, loaded with cheese and baked until perfectly crispy outside and gooey inside. A fun and flavorful seafood appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
- 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup lump crab meat, drained
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a small circle.
- Place a spoonful of seafood mixture in the center of each dough circle.
- Fold edges over filling and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.
- Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra melted butter or marinara sauce if desired.
Notes
- Ensure crab meat is well drained to prevent soggy filling.
- Do not overfill to avoid leakage while baking.
- Can substitute imitation crab if preferred.
- Best served fresh and warm.
