Description

Crab stuffed mushrooms are a classic appetizer made with tender mushroom caps filled with a rich, creamy crab mixture and baked until golden and savory.


Ingredients

  • 16 large button or cremini mushrooms, stems removed
  • 8 oz lump crab meat, drained
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems; arrange caps in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in breadcrumbs gently.
  5. Spoon the crab mixture generously into each mushroom cap.
  6. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until mushrooms are tender and tops are lightly golden.
  8. Serve warm.

  • Use lump crab for best texture.
