Description
Crab stuffed mushrooms are a classic appetizer made with tender mushroom caps filled with a rich, creamy crab mixture and baked until golden and savory.
Ingredients
- 16 large button or cremini mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 oz lump crab meat, drained
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Clean mushrooms and remove stems; arrange caps in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in breadcrumbs gently.
- Spoon the crab mixture generously into each mushroom cap.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until mushrooms are tender and tops are lightly golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use lump crab for best texture.
- Do not overfill to prevent spilling.
- Great served with lemon wedges.
