Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 12 ounces penne pasta (or preferred pasta)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden and fully cooked through.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
