Description
A cheesy, savory stromboli stuffed with seasoned chicken, crispy bacon, ranch dressing, and melted cheese, all wrapped in golden pizza dough for the ultimate comfort food.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: extra ranch for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll pizza dough into a large rectangle (about 12×15 inches).
- Spread ranch dressing evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Layer chicken, bacon, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese evenly over ranch.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and parsley on top for extra flavor.
- Starting from the long edge, carefully roll dough into a log. Pinch seams and tuck ends to seal.
- Place stromboli seam-side down on baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.
- Cut 3–4 small slits on top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with extra ranch for dipping.
Notes
- Make ahead by assembling stromboli, then refrigerating until ready to bake.
- Try adding sautéed onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.
