Description
Sweet and easy cherry-filled pastry bites made with biscuits or dough, stuffed with cherry pie filling and baked or air-fried until golden.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling into the center of each.
- Fold the dough around the filling and pinch edges tightly to seal.
- Place seam-side down on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
- Brush each bomb with melted butter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the tops.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes (or air fry for 8–10 minutes) until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- Ensure bombs are sealed well to prevent leaking.
- Try with apple, blueberry, or peach pie filling for variety.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a dessert-style treat.
