Description

Cheesy garlic bread is a classic side dish made with crusty bread slathered in garlic butter and topped with melted cheese, baked until golden and bubbly.


Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette or loaf of Italian bread, sliced lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley or Italian seasoning, and salt.
  3. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the bread, followed by Parmesan cheese.
  5. Place bread on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
