Description
A fun, bold, and cheesy Dorito Taco Casserole made with seasoned ground beef, crunchy Doritos, melted cheese, and classic taco flavors—perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups crushed Doritos (Nacho Cheese flavor)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
- Optional toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, green onions, black olives
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning, salsa, and cream of chicken soup until well combined.
- Spread half of the crushed Doritos in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Top with the beef mixture, then sprinkle with half of the cheese.
- Add remaining Doritos and finish with remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
- Cool slightly and add desired toppings before serving.
Notes
- Use ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add jalapeños for extra heat.
- Serve immediately to keep Doritos crunchy.
