Description

A fun, bold, and cheesy Dorito Taco Casserole made with seasoned ground beef, crunchy Doritos, melted cheese, and classic taco flavors—perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos (Nacho Cheese flavor)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, green onions, black olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, salsa, and cream of chicken soup until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the crushed Doritos in the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Top with the beef mixture, then sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  6. Add remaining Doritos and finish with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
  8. Cool slightly and add desired toppings before serving.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • Add jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Serve immediately to keep Doritos crunchy.
