Description

Cheddar Ranch Party Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and flavor-packed appetizer that combines sharp cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, crispy bacon, and green onions. Perfect for parties, game days, or casual get-togethers, this easy dip is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser served with chips, crackers, or veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh veggies (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix. Beat or stir until smooth and well blended.
  2. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, and garlic powder (if using). Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with additional bacon bits, green onions, and chopped parsley.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve with crackers, pretzels, tortilla chips, or sliced vegetables.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and low-fat cream cheese.
  • This dip can also be served warm — bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes until bubbly.
  • Make it ahead: refrigerate up to 2 days before serving.
  • Try mixing in diced jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy twist.
