Description

Caramel Apple Pie Bombs are bite-sized dessert treats made with flaky dough wrapped around spiced apples and gooey caramel, then baked or fried until golden and irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling, chopped
  • 12 soft caramel candies, halved
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional: powdered sugar or caramel sauce for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a small circle.
  3. Place a spoonful of chopped apple pie filling in the center of each dough circle.
  4. Add one piece of caramel on top of the apples.
  5. Carefully wrap the dough around the filling, pinching seams to seal.
  6. Roll into smooth balls and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Brush each dough ball with melted butter.
  8. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the tops.
  9. Bake for 14–16 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly and drizzle with caramel sauce or dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Seal dough well to prevent caramel from leaking.
  • Best served warm for gooey centers.
  • Can also be air-fried at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes.
