Description

Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta is a creamy, spicy comfort dish featuring tender Cajun-seasoned chicken tossed with fettuccine noodles in a rich garlic Parmesan Alfredo sauce. It’s the perfect balance of heat and creaminess for a restaurant-quality meal at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Rub Cajun seasoning evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and paprika, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Top with sliced Cajun chicken and garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

  • Use shrimp or sausage instead of chicken for variation.
  • For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning or a dash of hot sauce to the sauce.
  • Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version of the sauce.
  • Pairs perfectly with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
