Description

A creamy and cheesy potato casserole with the bold flavors of Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and garlic. Perfect as a comforting side dish for family dinners or holidays.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (if using breadcrumbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together Caesar dressing, sour cream, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add sliced potatoes and toss until well coated.
  4. Layer half of the potato mixture in the prepared dish. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Repeat with remaining potatoes and cheese.
  6. If using, combine breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle evenly on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 20 minutes, until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cooked bacon bits or grilled chicken between layers.
  • Yukon Gold potatoes can be used for a creamier texture.
  • Pairs well with roasted meats or grilled vegetables.
