Description
Baked ravioli casserole is an easy, comforting oven-baked dish made with layers of cheese-filled ravioli, rich marinara sauce, and melted cheese, perfect for a family-friendly meal.
Ingredients
- 25 oz refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish.
- Arrange half of the ravioli in a single layer.
- Dollop half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
- Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and a portion of Parmesan.
- Top with more marinara sauce.
- Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, ricotta, sauce, and cheeses.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- Add cooked ground beef or sausage for extra protein.
- Frozen ravioli can be used without thawing.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
