Baked feta chicken with spinach is a simple, flavorful oven-baked dish featuring juicy chicken breasts topped with creamy feta cheese and tender spinach in a savory herb seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, oregano, paprika, and garlic.
  4. Top chicken evenly with crumbled feta cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove dish from oven and scatter spinach over the chicken.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  8. Return to oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and spinach is wilted.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
