Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and scrub the potatoes, then slice them thinly (about 1/8-inch thick).
- Place the potato slices in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat completely dry.
- Transfer the dried potato slices to a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and herbs if using.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve immediately while hot.

- Soaking the potatoes helps remove excess starch for crispier results.
