Description
Delicious chicken and mozzarella wraps made with tender grilled chicken, melted mozzarella cheese, fresh vegetables, and a soft tortilla wrap. Perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/4 cup tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup cucumber, sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking, optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
- In a bowl, mix the chicken with mayonnaise or ranch dressing, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Lay the tortilla flat and spread the chicken mixture evenly in the center.
- Top with shredded mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly to form a wrap.
- Optional: Heat a skillet with a little olive oil and lightly toast the wrap on both sides until golden and the cheese melts.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute mozzarella with cheddar or provolone for a different flavor.
- Use whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas if preferred.
- Add avocado or bell peppers for extra freshness.
- Best served warm but can also be eaten cold.
